At a certain point in life, there is a stirring within to stop running and to dive deep into all that we are. Something calls us to connect to our center and witness our capacity for wisdom, stillness and openness. Even the slightest curiosity towards transformation through silence should not be ignored. More than ever, our world needs more beings that are clear, aware and connected to deep presence. More than ever our taxed nervous systems and depleted adrenals need to be filled by simply turning the focus within, and listening for all the insights.
Join Carolyn for this unique 3-day opportunity to press pause on the noise of daily life and wake up to the workings of the mind, heart and body. On retreat, we will engage in restorative & hatha yoga, seated & walking meditations, journalling & self-inquiry, and many periods of noble silence. Our time together will also include feeding the body with wholesome vegetarian meals and feeding the mind with daily lectures related to un-learning our conditioned beliefs with gentleness. Our home for the weekend will be at the oceanfront Swanwick Centre (Krishnamurti Educational Centre of Cda) near Victoria, BC. This beautiful property is just a 40 minute drive from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal on Vancouver Island. More on the property HERE.

Join Carolyn for an afternoon of simple meditations to face the anxieties and stresses that weigh you down, along with tangible/practical tools for coping. The only prerequisite of meditation is an eagerness to learn: about the inner workings of the mind and about ways to return to presence. Perfection is not required.
You can expect to engage in various seated & reclined meditations, soothing breathwork practices, simple written exercises to clarify which types of mindfulness you need most and creating commitments that will keep you meditating daily, in your own way.
There will be opportunities for questions. Please bring a notebook. All levels welcome.
