this is my body.

It is nourished, it is remembered, hydrated, touched, kissed by the sun, kissed by his lips, tainted with tender scars, prayed for, fed with breath, honoured with each mindful step, united with the trees, the leaves, the birdsong, it is my carriage, my vessel, my most precious temple.

It is pushed to dangerous limits, it is rarely what I want it to be and it is shunned in my darkest moments.

And I strive to celebrate my shape and find humble glorification of my dear home.
