Join Carolyn and Clara for an explorational afternoon of movement and stillness through the practices of vinyasa yoga and meditation.
This workshop focuses on opening the body and mind to create a more integrated life off the mat. Be prepared for a variety of physical challenges (build internal heat, play through inversions and hold some sweet hip openers), guided meditations, discussion and journaling.
Whether you are new to yoga or have travelled this road a long while, the learning never ends. Anyone wishing to uncover more depth, more presence and more play is welcome.

This meditative workshop invites you to pause from whatever ideas, stress and expectations you’ve been stuck in. Through simple, relaxing poses and breathwork, you’ll have the opportunity to let go of rigidity and relieve your tense muscles and a strung out nervous system. Expect to: boost your immune system, decrease blood pressure, improve digestion and fatigue along with a myriad of other physical and emotional benefits.
There will be time for questions and note-taking as well as an affirming meditation at the end to tie in this concept that slowness is the reset we often need most.

The 2nd Chakra (Svadisthana) is located in the lower abdomen and sacrum/tailbone area. When we practice yoga poses and certain meditations to tap into this area, we connect to which beliefs prevent us from taking big steps forward, from actively making shifts in our lives and from starting new creative projects. The 2nd Chakra and the transition into the fall months both symbolize creativity, transition, rebirth, pleasure and the need for personal boundaries. Learn ways to discover a more empowered and joyful you as you create life shifts that are smooth and mindful.
You can expect: all levels flow yoga, a discussion/review of the 2nd Chakra, journalling, meditations to bring more awareness and connectivity to your process around the life phase you are in.
